YUIR Weekend is a two-and-a-half day anti-racist organizing training for youth ages 14-23. Dinner on Friday, Lunch on Saturday and Sunday and breakfast snacks will be provided.

AFSC's Pennsylvania Empowering Voices for Peace and Justice Program seeks to bring people of divergent views together to build a peaceful and just world.

Current initiatives include:

  • Racial Justice Through Human Rights Youth Group, exploring the roots of violence and working towards youth-led change; 

  • Listening-centered creative programming, amplifying voices of oppressed communities while networking for constructive change;

  • Raising awareness about the human and economic cost of war and militarization through exhibits, dramatic readings and information sharing.
